Mt Auburn Partners is actively seeking to acquire and operate service
companies in the lower middle-market with a history of stable, profitable
operations. Mt. Auburn Partners is not a venture capital firm, and
does not consider start-ups or companies that have yet to attain
profitability. We look for opportunities that satisfy most of the
following criteria:
Company characteristics
- Commercial or consumer service companies with recurring revenues
- Minimum of three years of profitable operating history and strong
reputation
- Leadership or solid growth potential within its industry
- Diverse customer base with high retention rates
Financials
- Revenues of $10 - $30 million
- EBITDA of $2.0 - $6.0 million
- EBITDA margins of at least 15%
Target markets
- Growing or relatively stable industries
- Products providing significant value-added to the customer
Management team
- Owners willing to participate during the transition of ownership
period
- Experienced and driven middle management
- Solid employee relations
